10 Years Fly By

There’s a saying about parenting:  the ‘days creep by and the years fly by.’  I was reminded of this last week as KNN marked the celebration of our 10th anniversary at the Kentucky Nonprofit Leadership Forum.

Nonprofit leaders Robert Egger of CForward and Tim Delaney of the National Council of Nonprofits joined the celebration and shared their perspective on leadership and issues facing our sector.  KNN also shared our 10th Anniversary video, produced by our friends at Pinnacle Productions.  If you haven’t seen it, check it out!

Our Forum on Thursday, October 25 allowed us to recognize two individuals and an innovative organization with our annual awards.  Please take a moment to learn about each of these deserving recipients and check out our Forum photos at the Forum blog site.

KNN is your state association of nonprofits.  The Kentucky Nonprofit Network’s celebration of our 10th anniversary is also a celebration of you – our members, our sector.   Thank you for taking this journey with us.  We are energized and excited about the next ten years – even if the days seem to creep by at times.  I sincerely hope you will continue your partnership with us.  If you haven’t become a KNN member yet, what are you waiting for?
