3 Gold Medal Opportunities

The Summer Olympics officially begin on Friday with opening ceremonies in London.  I love watching swimming, gymnastics, track and field and of course basketball.  I also love the profiles of the athletes – so inspirational and so many amazing stories of families and communities pulling together to help elite athletes achieve their Olympic dreams.

We have elite organizations and leaders in our nonprofit sector, but “tooting our own horn” can be a foreign concept.  We are usually very good at selling our missions and how our nonprofits can further these missions.  But to call our organization’s programming innovative or to recognize our executives and board members for outstanding service and leadership aren’t always as easy.

KNN’s annual awards provide you with an opportunity to recognize our organizations, our peers and our board members for a job well done.  The nomination process is easy and the awards will be presented at the 10th Anniversary KY Nonprofit Leadership Forum Awards Luncheon on Thursday, October 25.
