An “Old” Friend with a New Name

Published On: February 16, 2011

We’ve got a new look!  To better emphasize our focus on our membership program, the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is now the Kentucky Nonprofit Network.  Along with our new look comes lots of important news to share with you, including a new website; the launch of our new Principles & Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Kentucky program and a FREE technical assistance/consulting opportunity.

As you may know, rebranding an organization and launching new programs is both exciting and exhausting.   Many thanks to the Nonprofit Network members who submitted photos featured on our new website and in our Principles & Practices documents.  Also, a sincere thanks to everyone who made our Principles & Practices launch a success – the expert reviewers from across Kentucky and state government leaders, Governor Steve Beshear, Attorney General Jack Conway and State Auditor Crit Luallen for their support and endorsement of the program.  We are grateful for the support of Fifth Third Bank for their sponsorship of the Principles & Practices Planning & Implementation Workbook and without the ARRA grant – development of these resources would not have been possible.

All of these new resources exist for your benefit and it’s our mission to make these tools as useful as possible – we welcome you to comment below!
